Travel - Island Escape Burasari
Unique Selling Proposition:
An escape from those seeking an idyllic, exclusive resort in Thailand but still accessible to main Phuket island.

Escape the hustle
Sharing a beautiful island I found just a 10 minute speed boat ride away from Phuket, Thailand.
It’s called Coconut Island and is still relatively undeveloped as compared to Phuket. If you’re looking for a beautiful spot to escape the hustle this is it. Usually these more remote islands take forever to get to but the travel time was acceptable and actually enjoyable for me.
The hotel is called Island Escape by Burasari and is beautifully designed and landscaped. It’s getting more popular now so there are tourists from all over the world especially travel vloggers here. But you can still find a cosy spot no matter the time of day and the views are just simply amazing.
Other perks? The spa is indulgent but still feels engaged in nature. Being a city girl I have never heard a quietness like this outside the spa area and it was strangely therapeutic.
The food at the hotel’s restaurants is something else too as it was always familiar yet different and refreshing. Some of my favourite dishes are from there.
Other things to note, there is no cable TV which was very surprising to me but you can watch YouTube on the TV. Not a big deal ultimately. There are no shops on the island only a small selection of essentials at the hotel so come prepared with your sunscreen, snacks and essentials.
Oh another big draw of the place is the beautifully landscaped pools. There are 3 in total and 2 of them are really huge. It feels like you are swimming in the wild under the canopy of trees and falling flowers.
